Job Description

Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year. We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Clinician (English/Spanish) to join our
Trager Lemp Center:
Treating Trauma, Promoting Resilience. This role provides vital services to individuals and families affected by trauma and crime. Training and supervision in evidence-based trauma treatment modalities is provided. Compensation ranges from $70,000 - $80,000 annually, for candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish. This is a hybrid position based in our Yonkers clinic.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Provide treatment in various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, for ongoing treatment cases.

Maintain accurate records and statistical reporting in line with agency requirements.

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop written treatment plans with the client (collaborative documentation) in compliance with OMH regulations.

Monitor and update the treatment plan semi-annually and work with the client to fulfill the goals of the treatment plan.

Collaborate with outside service providers as needed.

Provide client crisis intervention, as needed.

Meet or exceed monthly productivity expectations.

Receive supervision.

Provide emergency and general clinical coverage for the respective TLC office/clinic, as needed.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Valid NYS license as an LMSW or LCSW; LMHCs are also encouraged to apply.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Thorough knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic approaches for individuals and families affected by sexual abuse and family violence.

Able to work late evenings twice per week - typically until 7:00pm.
