Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing mental health counseling and support to individuals and families. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health practices, diagnostic evaluations, and psychotherapy techniques. The Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that address their unique needs and challenges. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs. Provide individual and family mental health counseling sessions, focusing on therapeutic techniques tailored to children and adults. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations, including ICD-10 coding. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices. Offer direct support to clients, addressing behavioral health issues and promoting overall well-being. Engage in ongoing assessment of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, CMHC, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure - LCSW, LPC, LMFT Proven experience in mental health counseling Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods and behavioral health practices. Familiarity with medical records management and ICD-10 coding is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence in clinical practice.
