Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Clinical Therapist - LPCA and make a meaningful impact on individuals and families navigating life's challenges. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive psychotherapy services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and telehealth platforms. As a vital member of our team, you will deliver evidence-based treatments, foster recovery, and promote resilience in clients of all ages. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during emergencies and manage crisis situations effectively Facilitate intake procedures, develop personalized treatment goals, and maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, progress tracking through data collection, and medical records management Utilize telehealth experience to deliver remote counseling sessions while ensuring compliance with privacy standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes and treatment efficacy Requirements Valid Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in good standing Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, social work practices, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or special populations including those with disabilities or chronic pain conditions Proven ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management skills and behavior management strategies Competency in providing services via outpatient clinics or inpatient settings; experience in hospital environments is preferred Excellent communication skills for conducting diagnostic evaluations, patient assessments, and delivering patient-centered care in diverse environments including telehealth platforms Join us to empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness! $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
