Qualified candidates must hold a Master's Degree in a mental health discipline and are on a clinical licensure track. Caseloads will include outpatient therapy services and developing initial /updated Diagnostic Assessments with children and adults.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide community-based mental health services in clients' homes and community settings for a small caseload. Opportunity to deliver psychotherapy services under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. Complete diagnostic assessments under supervision, including gathering clinical history, assessing symptoms, and supporting diagnostic formulation Support individuals in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral strategies Assist clients with daily living skills, independence, and goal achievement Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a licensed clinician Provide psychoeducation to clients and families on mental health conditions and strategies Monitor client progress and document services in a timely and accurate manner Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed Collaborate with therapists, care managers, and other providers to ensure coordinated care Maintain professional, ethical, and client-centered practices at all times
Required Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Actively working toward clinical licensure (LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Eligible to provide psychotherapy services and complete diagnostic assessments under supervision in accordance with state regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in community settings Basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses and interventions Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally
