Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician with licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to diverse populations in our outpatient, private practice setting. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, fostering resilience and recovery. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma such as PTSD or grief Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating behavioral management, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain counseling as appropriate Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining meticulous medical documentation and records Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote patient care while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and confidentiality Engage in clinical research activities to support evidence-based practices, data collection efforts, and continuous quality improvement initiatives Requirements Current licensure as an LCSW or LPC with eligibility to practice independently in the state of employment Proven experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health treatment within outpatient or inpatient settings Strong knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnostic accuracy and billing purposes Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and/or expertise working with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or special education populations is highly desirable Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms and delivering services remotely is preferred Ability to perform patient assessments involving mental health counseling, psychopharmacology coordination, case management, and diagnostic evaluation Excellent communication skills with the capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and empathy Join us in transforming lives through compassionate mental health care!
