Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Therapist to join our mental health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through flexible contract arrangements, utilizing your clinical skills in various settings such as outpatient clinics, telehealth platforms, and inpatient facilities. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and committed to fostering positive change in clients' lives. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or art therapy Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards (ICD-9, ICD-10) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate patient care and case management Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote therapy sessions while ensuring confidentiality and engagement Engage in ongoing research and data collection to monitor treatment outcomes and improve clinical practices Requirements Valid licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or higher credentialing in Ohio or West Virginia or region Strong skills in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, and more Experience with crisis management, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling is highly desirable Familiarity with DSM5 and medical necessity Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings or inpatient environments; telehealth experience is a plus Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, patient care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards and ensuring ethical practice standards are upheld Join us as a Contract Therapist and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate mental health care.
