Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to patients, utilizing a diverse counseling approach to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. This role is critical in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support. Training for licensure Is available. Duties
- Provide remote and/or face to face counseling services to patients of various ages and backgrounds, utilizing a holistic approach that incorporates medical terminology and current counseling principles.
- Conduct motivational interviewing sessions to encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare and recovery.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment methods and best practices in treatments.
- Maintain accurate and thorough EH medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct support to patients, including counseling, education, and advocacy. Experience
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in outpatient counseling
- Experience with motivational interviewing and case management techniques.
- Knowledge of telehealth practices or be willing to learn.
