Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Counselor to join our mental health and wellness team. In this vital role, you will provide confidential counseling services to employees and their families, supporting their mental health, emotional well-being, and overall resilience. Your expertise will help individuals navigate personal challenges, workplace stressors, and mental health issues with professionalism and empathy. Duties Conduct intake assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy in a brief, solution-focused framework. Facilitate motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change and enhance client engagement in treatment. Document all clinical and case management interactions accurately. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or mental health counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong knowledge of mental health and behavior management techniques. Expertise in working with adults, children, and adolescents. Proficiency in telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions and familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients from diverse backgrounds while demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
