We have a strong referral system, including excellent relationships with local doctors, pediatricians, inpatient facilities, and schools. We offer a supportive work environment with competitive fee split and a friendly, ethical, and team-oriented environment with administrative/billing staff support. We are currently looking to add a generalist therapist with special interest and skills in LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy to our team. The successful candidate should be able to discuss their interest and experience in treating LGBTQ clients presenting with identity-related and general mental health concerns, including coming out, transitioning, same-sex relationships, internalized homonegativity, general anxiety, depression, etc. Candidates with private practice experience will be given preference.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a license as an LPC, LMSW, LLP, or LP.
Demonstrate qualifications and experience in the delivery of LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy
Be able to commit to at 25
30 direct client contact hours per week
Be able to work at least 2 evenings per week.
Be proficient with Electronic Medical/Health Record documentation system
Be able to meet deadlines for required documentation
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to ethical standards of licensure and HIPAA
Share a commitment to learning and implementing SLC policies
