Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCMHC or LCMHCA to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote mental wellness. The candidate should be well-versed in various therapeutic modalities and possess a strong commitment to patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals. Provide psychotherapy, including individual counseling. Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention techniques. Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD, grief, addiction, and other mental health challenges. Engage in crisis management and behavior management strategies as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide telehealth services as required, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Skills Proficient in Psychotherapy techniques Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical records management. Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, crisis intervention strategies, and addiction counseling. Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively while demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with autism. Competence in case management practices to coordinate care across various services. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
