  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and case management, to diverse populations across various settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges, fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support behavior change and enhance patient engagement. Deliver specialized care for children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Manage crisis interventions effectively while ensuring safety and stability for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma such as PTSD or Alzheimer's care. Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic medical record (EMR) systems; document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychologists, educators, and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Engage in clinical research activities related to behavioral health interventions and contribute to data collection efforts for ongoing studies. Provide education on mental health topics such as addiction counseling, psychopharmacology, special education strategies, and crisis management techniques. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) with state certification or licensing credentials. Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or mental health services across diverse populations. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data management; experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding for diagnoses is preferred. Hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or in hospital settings. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions; ability to perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively. Experience delivering services such as crisis intervention, case management, group therapy, or Christian counseling is advantageous. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
