Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Board approved License Graduate Professional Counselors to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide vital counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. Duties Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Manage medical documentation accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans for clients with complex needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, chronic pain, or gender issues counseling. Participate in clinical research projects and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and advance behavioral health practices. Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Graduate Professional Counselor (GPC) or equivalent in your state. Hands-on experience with telehealth platforms and outpatient clinical settings preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management. Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis management procedures, behavior management techniques, and social work principles. Prior exposure to hospital or inpatient environments is a plus; experience in pediatric or special education settings is advantageous. $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
