We are growing and are looking for a counselor that wants to join a dynamic team of professionals with a commitment to providing quality mental health care to our community. Dynamis Counseling is looking for an LAC to work with clients in our Mesa location. You will have access to clinical and administrative supervision. You will be working with a team of professionals that includes an independently licensed professional counselor and other talented therapists with wide ranging experience in mental health. We believe in letting each professional do their part in helping each client ultimately succeed in a safe and effective manner. This will be a contract position. Counseling:

1 year (preferred) and minimum licensure requirement of LAC.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Assessing patients' emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them Asking questions and listening to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings Leading patients through evidence based interventions Consistent and ongoing 1:1, Group, Couples or Family counseling sessions and advising patients on issues of importance to them Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis (as needed) Providing referrals for additional care or services when required Maintaining detailed confidential records Participating in clinical supervision and keeping track of your direct contact hours

Desired Skills:

Effective and professional communication with both clients and peers Strong self-management skills needed to work remotely Easily builds rapport and trust with clients Familiar with clinical documentation techniques and requirements This is an in office contract position. Our office is currently open 9am-7pm, Monday through Thursday and 9-5 on Friday.

$40.00 to 45.00 per hour,

DOE Schedule:

3p-7p or 1p-6p based client need, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with opportunity to expand if desired.
