Associate License Okay! Bilingual is a plus! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with individuals from all walks of life. We are an LGBTQ+ Friendly practice, so experience with the population is helpful. We see everyone from children and teens to adults, couples, partners, and families. Your role as a counselor involves providing therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans to enhance the well-being of clients, as well as maintaining up-to-date case notes, regularly. Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support. We also offer medication management. Supervision may be provided for Associate Clinicians. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy and counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing and crisis management techniques. Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis interventions tailored to clients with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for clients. Provide direct support to clients during challenging situations, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field. Maintain current and up-to-date supervision (for Associate Licensed Clinicians). Maintain current or relevant license, including all standards associated with license. Skills Proficiency in applied behavior analysis and behavior management techniques. Experience working with individuals with neurodivergence, developmental disabilities and other disabilities, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions. Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques for effective client engagement. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies relevant to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining a client-centered focus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This is a hybrid-remote contract position, with room to grow. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule. Ability to provide at least one day of availability for in-person/in-office clients is a plus.
