Job Description

Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to empower individuals on their journey toward mental wellness. Your expertise will help foster resilience, manage crises, and promote positive change across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure immediate safety and stabilization of clients experiencing acute mental health issues. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change and enhance engagement in treatment plans. Provide specialized counseling for populations including children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and those facing gender issues or grief. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations; accurately record progress notes, treatment plans, and clinical research data using appropriate CPT coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development activities such as research reviews, clinical supervision, and training in ICD coding updates or new therapeutic techniques. Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Proficiency in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to handle urgent mental health situations effectively. Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, and diverse populations facing complex mental health challenges. Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing processes. Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms while maintaining HIPAA compliance; adept at managing remote patient assessments and direct support. Ability to conduct intake assessments thoroughly while demonstrating excellent patient care skills; experience working within outpatient or inpatient clinical settings. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health; capable of integrating medical records into comprehensive treatment plans. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams; adept at social work practices and case management strategies.
