Mental Health Therapist/Social Worker New Life Counseling in Warwick, RI is hiring a Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor. New Life Counseling is a group practice open seven days a week and seeing all ages for individual, family, and couples counseling. We are in need of clinicians who are able to provide counseling to couples (or be willing to be trained to work with these populations). We are in need of a clinician who has evening and/or weekend availability. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions. These positions can be either in person, remote, or hybrid. •Remote workers need to be licensed in the state of RI as well as the state they are conducting therapy in.

Job Responsibilities:

Leads psychotherapy sessions. Develops strong working relationships with patients. Helps patients set and reach their therapeutic goals. Advises patients on healthy coping mechanisms. Keeps detailed psychotherapy and progress notes. Uses electronic medical record. Refers patients to psychiatrists when necessary. Follows all guidelines, regulations, standards, and policies.

Hours/Benefits:

In person, remote, or hybrid. Hours and schedule are negotiable and new hire can set the number of clients a week. The office is open seven days a week with a minimum total hours is 10 completed sessions for independently licensed clinicians and 15 completed sessions for clinicians requiring supervision. A miniumum of 10 sessions a week must be either night (after 3pm) or weekend. This position is an employee (W-2) position. 401k

Education and Experience Requirements:

A master's degree in mental health counseling or social work is required.

Required:

LMHC, LICSW, LMHCA, or LCSW in the state of RI. Weekly supervision will be provided for clinicians under supervision (LMHCA and LCSW).

$50.00 - $70.00 per hour
