Job Summary We are seeking a passionate clinician with experience working with children, teens, parents and families to join our team at the Center for Psychological Health and Wellness. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services for anxiety, mood issues, behavioral difficulties, and family system challenges. You will deliver high-quality mental health services tailored to the unique needs of younger clients, parents, and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote healing and resilience.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited university.
Licensure:
Active associate license (e.g., ALPC, ALMFT, etc.) in the state of PA is required. Fully licensed candidates (e.g., PhD., Psy
D., LPC, LCSW
) are preferred.
Experience:
At least 1 year of post-graduate training or experience as a mental health provider, specifically with children and adolescents, is preferred.
Specialization:
Committed to developing expertise in child and adolescent mental health modalities. A focus on evidence-based practices is encouraged, but we are open to specialties that excite you, such as trauma-informed care, play therapy, or family therapy.
Professional Growth:
Dedicated to ongoing training and professional development in relevant therapeutic approaches for children and teens.

Ability to work independently on tasks such as timely completion of case notes and managing a client schedule.

Job Type & Location Work Environment:
In-person required — our office is located at 122 W Lancaster Ave, Ste 206, Shillington, PA 19607.
Client Hours:
Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain a minimum of 25 client hours/week or 50 client hours/every two weeks.
Administrative Hours:
Administrative duties will range from 2-5 hours/week, depending on caseload and meetings.
Evening Appointments:
All clinicians are expected to schedule at least 4 evening appointments per week, starting at 5 PM or later.
Pay & Benefits Compensation:
Clinical rate of $40
- 75/hour; administrative rate of $18-20/hour (depending on licensure, experience, etc.

Position Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Duties:
Maintain a caseload that meets full-time position requirements. Provide individual therapy to children and teens (ages 5-18) and as needed, parents and families. Conduct initial phone consultations with prospective clients, as needed. Collaborate with clients' treatment teams (e.g., PCPs, psychiatrists, schools) as necessary. Facilitate educational workshops for families, as requested.
Administrative Duties:
Complete case notes and relevant paperwork promptly. Manage caseload and client-facing schedule efficiently. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files. Complete intake sessions. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders and other staff to coordinate services.
