Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Master Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct care to individuals with mental health disorders, offering support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
MUST HAVE A VALID PERMIT OR LICENSURE TO APPLY
Responsibilities:
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to children ages 8 and older, and adults
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing an array of treatment techniques
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Skills:
  • Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and participate in clinical research
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and colleagues
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with group therapy dynamics The ideal candidate can work Fridays or Saturdays in person, with individuals as well as host a group for children or adults.
The ideal candidate must have experience working with children. The ideal candidate needs needs to have after school hours available, with two evenings a week for in person sessions in Cornwall, NY. The ideal candidate will treat 30-40 clients per week. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
