Job Description
The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner provides specialized knowledge and skills to adequately perform psychiatric and mental health evaluations and assessments. Strong client rapport skills and the ability to coordinate care as part of a larger team is essential.
The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing direct clinical Services intake, assessment, treatment planning, and outpatient psychotherapy to consumers. The overall purpose is to provide quality service delivered with dignity and respect for the client and community. This service is aimed at improving the client's overall mental health, and generating increased community wellness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Provides evaluations and assessments for patients Practices in collaboration with staff to manage patient care Assesses the multidimensional needs of patients and develops care plans Administer and score Locus/ Calocus Completion of Authorizations Provides written reports and care coordination as needed. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs, seminars, etc., designated to maintain professional competence Performs all related duties, as assigned Provides psychotherapy sessions Understands, acknowledges, and agrees to adhere to Medicaid's policy and procedureQUALIFICATIONS
Licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana Masters degree in a Mental Health related field, from an accredited institution, with two years experience Required education: Master's Degree Required licenses or certifications: Licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana in the areas of either Counseling, Social work, or Psychology...provisional license accepted, supervion is available for provisional counselors, LPC, P-LPC, LCSW, LMSW, CSW, LMFT, P-LMFT Insurance benefits after 90 daysJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
