In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy and art therapy.. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster motivation for change and enhance treatment engagement. Manage cases involving complex mental health issues including PTSD, grief, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, chronic pain, and gender issues counseling. Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards; maintain detailed medical records and progress notes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, special educators, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and advance best practices in behavioral health. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavioral management. Proficiency in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies for urgent mental health situations. Strong working knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Skilled in working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and patients with chronic pain or PTSD. Experience delivering telehealth services effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Ability to perform patient assessments using medical terminology and conduct intake evaluations efficiently. Excellent communication skills for engaging patients across diverse backgrounds while demonstrating cultural sensitivity; adept at case management and social work practices.
