The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and have a passion for helping individuals improve their mental health and well-being. This role provides individual and group counseling sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Journey to Present is a Holistic Psychology practice, so some interest in holistic methods of healing are appreciated. Duties Conduct intake interviews to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic Theories, etc. Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in distressing situations. Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with ICD-9 standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Facilitate workshops or support groups focused on behavioral health topics or other community outreach and marketing endeavors Experience At least a master's degree in psychology or counseling is required. Must hold an LPC, LCPC or be a licensed Psychologist Also open to Post-Doctoral Candidate Previous experience in crisis management and patient care is preferred. Knowledge of medical documentation processes and behavioral health practices is highly valued.
