Psychotherapy Full Job Description Job Summary:

Opportunities vary: Depending on whether fully licensed or provisionally licensed- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, crisis and discharge plans, Provide Counseling and Psychoeducation, assist with collection of data, screening tools, and monitoring of progress in the Mental Health Program. Services needed in Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Jennings offices. But postion may be hybrid/remote. Employee must be licensed in the state of LA.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Licensed or Provisionally licensed in social work, counseling or psychology. PLPC, LMSW, CSW, PLMFT or Psychology Intern preferred. Only MHPs who are registered as interns with the governing boards of LCSW, LPC, LMFT or American Psychological Association will be allowed to do mental health counseling

Skills:

English language reading, writing, and speaking skills Excellent communication and listening skills Computer literate Knowledge and experience working with general office equipment Good organizational and prioritization skills Detail oriented with the ability to follow through a given task Must maintain appropriate level of professional demeanor Must maintain appropriate composure when dealing with sensitive subject matter Must recognize, retain and preserve confidential information
