Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Progressive Community Initiatives, LLC Akron, OH Job Details Contract From $50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Professional ethics LPC Care documentation Master's degree Counseling Full Job Description Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Independent Contractor (1099) Progressive Community Initiatives is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing behavioral health team as an independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about providing quality mental health services while building their clinical experience in a supportive environment.
Position Type:
Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation:
Percentage of collected revenue generated from services provided
Supervision Benefit:
Free clinical supervision provided toward independent licensure
Responsibilities:
Provide individual counseling services to adolescents and adults. Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, adjustment difficulties, grief, behavioral concerns, and relationship challenges. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency, ethical, and regulatory standards. Participate in supervision and case consultation as appropriate. Collaborate with other providers and community resources to support client care.
Qualifications:
Current LPC license in the State of Ohio (required). Master's degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining professional and ethical standards. Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
