Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor to lead clinical teams, oversee patient care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to mentor clinicians, manage complex cases, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence within a supportive environment. Duties Supervise licensed clinicians and counseling staff to ensure adherence to best practices and ethical standards in mental health counseling. Provide direct clinical supervision for counselors working with diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring crisis intervention. Oversee and review clinical documentation and notes, intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing, screenings and assessments. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies, ensuring patient safety at all times. Support clinicians in developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate social work principles, family counseling, group therapy, and patient care documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate ongoing training on medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, medical records management, and behavioral health best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and optimize patient outcomes across home and community care settings. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the state of practice with Supervisor Designation. Proven experience supervising mental health professionals within clinical settings. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling modalities including Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Hollistic Modalities, Psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care such as PTSD management. Experience working with children, Individuals, Couples, Families and Groups with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or special education environments preferred. Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols, addiction counseling techniques, and working with individuals facing complex behavioral challenges. Excellent skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), and medical documentation standards. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in medical records and legal compliance. $48,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
