Counseling and Therapy, LLC is a community-based behavioral health agency dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve mental wellness and independence. We provide a wide range of services including psychosocial rehabilitation, individual and family therapy, targeted case management, group therapy, and psychiatric evaluations. Our mission is to empower clients to achieve lasting change through compassionate, evidence-based care. Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and motivated Licensed Professional Counselors (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our growing team. The counselor will provide clinical services including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and coordination of care. This role offers flexibility with opportunities to work on-site at our North Florida office or virtually (telehealth platform) , depending on client and agency needs. Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance requirements. Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other providers to ensure coordinated care. Engage in crisis intervention and management, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care, including intake assessments, treatment progress notes, and medical terminology. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, and other behavioral health concerns. Monitor client progress toward treatment plan goals and adjust interventions as necessary. Participate in weekly clinical supervision and staff meetings. Uphold professional and ethical standards consistent with
NBCC, ACA
Code of Ethics, and Florida regulations. Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
Active Florida license required:
LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT . Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure counseling experience (preferred). Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills. Knowledge of CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care, and other therapeutic modalities. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits Average Pay Range:
$50,000 - $80,000 annually (depending on experience, licensure, and caseload) for contract positions. Flexible scheduling (on-site or virtual, part-time and full-time opportunities).
