We're inviting a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who shares our values of care, respect, and empathy to join our team.
Position Overview:
In your pivotal role as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, you'll be instrumental in crafting safe spaces for healing and growth. With your expertise, you'll guide clients along their journey towards mental wellness, providing them with the support, tools, and understanding they need to thrive. Please note, this is a hybrid position with both remote and on-site required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and client-centered counseling to individuals, couples, or groups. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans. Monitor and evaluate client progress through regular sessions and adjust treatment plans as needed. Employ a range of therapeutic techniques appropriate to client needs. Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA standards. Maintain case files within electronic health record (EHR). Actively engage in supervision with a Licensed Professional Counselor to enhance clinical skills. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the nurturing environment of our practice. Stay updated with continuing education and current best practices in the field of mental health. Maintain individual workload. Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of date of service. Purchase and maintain an active malpractice insurance policy premium with minimal coverage levels required by insurance companies. Skill in working with a variety of cultures. Ability to provide necessary self-care.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Counseling. Active licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. (Or ability to acquire licensure) Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A warm, empathetic approach, and the ability to create a trusting therapeutic alliance. Flexibility and adaptability in various counseling modalities.
