Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate clinical documentation Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients during urgent mental health episodes Implement specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, behavioral therapy, and gender issues counseling Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with medical records and HIPAA privacy standards Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to mental health services while maintaining high-quality patient care Maintain detailed medical documentation, medical terminology records, and behavioral health data collection for ongoing case management and research purposes Requirements Valid licensure as a mental health counselor or therapist (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC) with current certification to practice independently in your state or region Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and behavioral management strategies Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic classification and billing purposes Experience working with adolescents, adults, military, and first responders is highly desirable Strong skills in trauma, crisis management, social work principles, and patient assessment procedures Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy compliance Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt clinical skills to virtual environments effectively Excellent communication skills with a passion for supporting diverse client needs across inpatient and outpatient settings Responsibilities Provide individual therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families. Facilitate and/or co-facilitate group therapy sessions as needed. Complete timely clinical documentation and treatment planning. Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with licensing requirements. Collaborate with colleagues, referral sources, and community partners when appropriate. Deliver services through in-person, telehealth, or hybrid formats. Required Qualifications Current professional license in good standing. Professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
