  • Hybrid (Office + Telehealth) The Kind Place The Kind Place is seeking a licensed counselor to join our growing practice in Springfield, Missouri.
This position begins part-time with the opportunity to grow a caseload based on the counselor's desired schedule and niche. Several clients are currently available to assign to the right candidate. We are a small, collaborative practice that values kindness, empathy, and meaningful work with the individuals we serve. The Kind Place provides counseling services for adults experiencing trauma, emotional stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and more. A significant portion of our work also includes supporting individuals affected by traumatic brain injury. Training and support related to brain injury will be provided. Counselors are also welcome to develop areas of specialty within the practice over time, based on their interests and experience. We aim to support therapists in building a caseload that feels meaningful and sustainable. What We Offer W2 employment Competitive compensation with paid non-billable time Paid meetings and trainings PTO available Support for continuing education related to brain injury Office space in Springfield Telehealth options Shared EHR system Billing and administrative support Marketing support to help grow your caseload Flexibility to develop and grow your specialty area Schedule Counselors set their own schedule based on the number of hours they wish to work. Services include both in-office and telehealth sessions. Qualifications Fully licensed counselor or therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent Missouri license) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team Commitment to professionalism, kindness, and ethical care Practice Culture The Kind Place is built on a culture of kindness, empathy, and understanding.
