Job Overview Licensed or Provisionally Licensed Therapist (W-2) First Response Therapy PLLC is a growing group private practice located in New Lenox, IL, seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to join our team as a W-2 employee. We provide a supportive, clinician-centered environment where therapists can focus on quality care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We value clinician well-being, manageable caseloads, and long-term professional sustainability. This is a hybrid role offering both in-person and telehealth opportunities with flexible scheduling. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT to provide therapy services to adults, couples, and (optionally) adolescents. Clinicians in this role will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs. While our practice has a strong specialty in trauma and first responder mental health, we also serve a diverse population including adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and everyday stressors. Job Duties Provide individual and couples therapy for presenting concerns including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma-related symptoms, relational distress, life transitions, emotional regulation, and occupational burnout Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, with crisis intervention and de-escalation skills when clients are in acute distress Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Participate in case management and coordination of care with other providers when appropriate Deliver services via secure telehealth platforms while maintaining confidentiality and clinical quality Maintain ongoing professional development through continuing education and training to remain current with evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and evolving behavioral health concepts Position Highlights W-2 employment Health, dental, and vision insurance available for full-time employees Manageable caseload of 20-25 clients per week Productivity bonuses available for caseloads of 22+ clients Competitive compensation per clinical hour, commensurate with experience Income protection for late cancellations and missed appointments in accordance with practice policy Paid Time Off (up to 40 hours annually in accordance with the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act) Annual CEU stipend plus partial reimbursement for specialty certifications, EMDR training, and advanced clinical development Clinical supervision provided for LPCs Flexible scheduling; candidates with daytime availability preferred Telehealth and in-person opportunities Full administrative, billing, marketing, and referral support Who We're Looking For Licensed or provisionally licensed clinicians in Illinois (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) Comfortable providing individual therapy to adults and couples (open to adolescent work is a plus but not required) Candidates who are comfortable and open to working with first responders (law enforcement, fire, EMS) Available for in-person sessions during daytime hours on at least three of the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday Proficient computer skills and comfortable providing telehealth sessions from home Professional, reliable, collaborative, and client-centered Preference for clinicians with 1-5+ years of clinical experience How to Apply To learn more or apply, please submit your materials through Indeed or email your resume and a brief introduction letter to Clinical Director, Jessica Galvan , at jessica@firstresponsetherapypllc.com .
