Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide therapy and counseling sessions to individuals and groups. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations. Facilitate educational workshops on mental health and substance abuse topics. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment. Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field. Current LMHP and LSATP licenses in the state of Virginia. Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor towards clients. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
