Job Description
Job Overview Blue Nexus Counseling is a growing, therapist-owned and managed New Jersey outpatient mental health practice with offices in Red Bank, Manasquan and Pennington. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to our community. We are seeking passionate licensed mental health professionals, including Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Associate Counselors (LAC), to join our team in delivering transformative mental health services. We are currently accepting applications for our Red Bank and Pennington locations. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy, clinical assessment and treatment planning with a commitment to delivering patient-centered care that promotes mental health and well-being. Duties Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities Perform clinical assessments and develop thoughtful personalized treatment plans Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure patient safety. Maintain timely, accurate documentation via EHR system Provide compassionate, culturally competent services to varied populations Maintain compliance with all ethical and regulatory standards including ICD coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 classifications Availability to work some evenings and weekends Willingness to work with children and adolescents Experience Valid licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW or LAC with one or more years of experience required Proven experience in various psychotherapy modalities Experience working with children, families and couples a plus Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards including ICD coding and CPT coding Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through compassionate care delivered within a collaborative team environment.
