In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute behavioral or emotional episodes effectively while ensuring patient safety. Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain counseling tailored to client needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, case management strategies, and medical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations. Utilize telehealth platforms to expand access to mental health services while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and medical records management. Engage in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance treatment outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices within behavioral health. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or clinical counseling environments. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis management, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses. Hands-on experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient care planning using social work or clinical counseling frameworks. Experience delivering psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, psychopharmacology coordination, or specialized therapies like art or dance therapy preferred. Telehealth experience is highly desirable for providing flexible access to services across diverse populations. Knowledge of medical records management systems and compliance with HIPAA standards is essential for maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation.
