General Responsibilities:
This position serves as an integral member of a team where safety and well-being of children, adolescent, adults, and all members of the family unit is paramount. The Mental Health Clinician (MHC) will conduct a variety of evaluations to aid in assessment, treatment planning and interventions. The MHC will also support, advocate and link families to community resources to foster self-sufficiency while building on community strengths and cultural groups. Clinicians must be willing to flex their schedule accordingly to provide clinical based services, on call supports, case management as needed. Hybrid position with TRAVEL community-based duties and responsibilities.The following licensures qualify:

Comply with all standards to ensure the health and safety of all individuals. Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive individualized initial assessment and all service plans with goals and objectives. Attend and actively participate in all meetings with the Department of Child Services for the development of safety planning for assigned cases. Establish and maintain routine collaborative meetings with community partners to promote partnerships between Benchmark and the systems partner. Synthesize information from treatment records, risk stratification, and other sources to assess program enrollees. Apply Knowledge of care coordination techniques in assessing the needs of individuals and determining interventions to address those gaps. Demonstrate flexibility in job duties and schedule in order to aid in better serving the organization, the individuals we serve and to assist in reaching high quality standards set forth by Benchmark. Allow for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate crisis situations for individuals. Document all case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records in compliance with agency, regulatory and accreditation standards. Attend regularly scheduled meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance. Provide family advocacy as needed. Provide crisis intervention as necessary. Provide 24/7 on-call supports for all assigned individuals and families. Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department supervisor. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Licensed as LMSW, LAPC, or LAMFT in the state of Georgia One year experience providing outpatient mental health services to youth and families Valid BLS, CPR, and basic first aid certification Verbal de-escalation skills and physical management training certificate Valid driver's license and auto insurancePreferred:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Georgia Unrestricted license to work independently in the State of Georgia One-year of experience working in child welfare Prior experience providing Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) Prior experience providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Benchmark Human Services is an EOE/AAP Employer.
