Mental Health Counselor- Contractor (1099)

Position Overview We Thrive Counseling PLLC is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC/LPCC or LCSW) to join our growing team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who is passionate about providing high-quality therapeutic services and values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive practice culture. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient mental health therapy (individual, couples, and/or family counseling) Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with other providers and referral sources when appropriate Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing regulations, and professional ethics Manage and maintain your own caseload Qualifications Active, unrestricted license in - LPC / LPCC or LCSW (required) Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (preferred) Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Experience with EHR systems (preferred)
