Job Description
Peer & Associates, Psychological Health and Wellness Services, an innovative and leading provider of outpatient mental health services in the Downriver community, is actively seeking new mental health providers (LP, MLP, LPC, LMSW) to join our team. Due to program expansion, we are in need of multiple mental health professionals to provide competent, ethical, and compassionate outpatient mental health services for our community. We are seeking both part-time and full-time providers to join our group. Experience in working with couples and children is a plus but not required. We provide new patient referrals as well as extensive clinician support. Responsibilities Provide individual and group mental health counseling to multiple treatment populations in an outpatient setting. Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress while maintaining HIPAA-compliant therapeutic documentation and records. Utilize multiple therapeutic modalities to support symptom management and functional goals. Collaborate with outside entities, families, and caregivers. Ensure safety, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity; maintain professional development through ongoing training and compliance with regulatory standards.
