What We're Looking For:

Job Types:
Full-time or Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to address a wide range of mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and recovery. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs. Provide individual and group counseling sessions using techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, including crisis intervention strategies when necessary. Offer specialized counseling services for children, families, and individuals dealing with trauma, grief, addiction, PTSD, and developmental disabilities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-10 coding for diagnoses. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and effective case management. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions when applicable. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or certification in Oregon as a Mental Health Therapist or Associate (LCSW, CSWA, LPC, LPC-A LMFT, AMFT, etc.). Interns in accredited mental health masters programs will also be considered. Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly while maintaining professional boundaries. Commitment to ethical practice standards within the mental health field.
