Job Description
Encompass Health & Recovery Center in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Counseling Professional with experience working with clients who are struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree in a counseling related field and be eligible for TN state licensure as a LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LADAC, etc... Bachelor Level or other certified candidates with extensive experience related to outpatient substance abuse counseling with adults and/or adolescents will be considered. Experience working with veterans or military affilated adults (spouse/dependents) is highly highly recommended for this role. We encourage service members, veterans and their families with qualifying experience to apply, as we are a veteran focused business. This position will provide outpatient substance abuse and mental health services primarily to adults with speciality focus on the needs of our local veterans. Duties will include group session, individual counseling sessions, and clinical assessments. Hourly compensation will be paid for direct client contact as well as correlating non-contact duties when verified by scheduling. This position is a hybrid of in-office/home-based requirements. The onsite office hours consist of 3 days/week in the office: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday from 10:30 AM
- 7:30PM.
Compensation ranges include:
- hourly rate of $20
- 30/hour based on education level and relevant experience for all clinically verified duties including direct client contact and non-contact duties including documentation. Licensed candidates will qualify for increased hourly compensation depending on supervision needs and licensure parameters.

approved facility through HRSA which may provide education loan repayment assistance to qualified candidates Candidates must have counseling experience and qualities in the following areas:- substance abuse/addiction and mental health
- veteran/military affiliated needs related to substance abuse and mental health counseling
- contact and telemedicine counseling experience with adults
- experience with facilitation of group sessions (preferably IOP)
- clinical assessments and intakes
- efficient and high quality electronic clinical documentation capabilities
- a desire to work in a small practice setting.
