Job Description
Outpatient Psychotherapist:
Provides individual and group counseling to assist clients with achieving more effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. Must be licensed or licensed eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia Outpatient Psychotherapy Identifies psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues. Diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials. Counsels individuals and groups to address symptoms related to behaviors, mood, anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. Completes biopsychosocial assessments and develops progress notes. Evaluates the effectiveness of counseling and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses. Qualifications Education:
Master's degree
Experience:
At least one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses/Certifications:
LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHP-E
(In-person clinical supervision available for LPC licensure only)
