Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to support their emotional and psychological well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Therapist will work with individuals of all ages, including pediatrics, addressing a range of mental health issues through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions, including behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and grief counseling. Offer crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or clinical setting to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. Provide support for chronic pain counseling and other specialized areas as required by clients' needs. Skills Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and mental health counseling approaches. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required. Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively. Knowledge of clinical counseling practices and the ability to apply them in real-world settings. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges.
