Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPC) or Licensed Master's Social Workers (LMSW) to join our dynamic rapidly growing Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program. In this role, you will provide weekly individual counseling, lead/co-lead skills groups weekly, mental health, and social support services to diverse patient populations, including children, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help facilitate recovery, improve quality of life, and promote overall well-being through our comprehensive State certified DBT program, assessments, and counseling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative clinical environment. Duties Direct Client Care:
Conduct individual, family, and group DBT psychotherapy sessions.
Assessments & Treatment:
Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
Crisis Intervention:
Provide brief or emergency interventions to ensure client safety and stabilization.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in compliance with state and regulatory standards. Skills Proven experience in child & family counseling, behavioral therapy, clinical research, and working with individuals with life threatening/therapy interfering/quality of life behaviors. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), and medical documentation practices. Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies tailored to various populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide effective individual/group psychotherapy sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.
Licensure:
Must hold an active provisional license (e.g., PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW) in the state of
Louisiana Experience:
Can be entry level. Training will be provided.
Skills:
Strong active listening, empathy, ethical judgment, and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
