We are looking for a motivated Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) who is passionate about individual therapy and eager to grow their clinical skills within a private practice setting. See more on our website- clearmtherapy.com The Role This is a hybrid position with approximately 80% telehealth and 20% in-person in Denver, CO or other nearby locations. You will provide individual therapy to a diverse range of adult clients, focusing on evidence-based practices. As an associate at Clear Mind Therapy, you will receive consistent, high-quality clinical supervision that counts toward your permanent licensure (MFT or LPC).

Caseload Growth & Expectations Schedule Buildup:

This position starts with 0-5 clients. We anticipate a gradual build-up to a full-time caseload (20-25 clients) over a period of 2-3 months .

This role is a perfect fit for a clinician who wants a gradual ramp-up of clients while gaining high-quality mentorship and a long-term home in private practice.

Requirements Licensure:

Must hold a current, valid MFTC or LPCC registration in good standing with the Colorado DORA.

Location:

Must be able to commute to Denver, Littleton and surrounding areas once per week or two

Education:

Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.

EMDR:

Must be trained in EMDR by an accredited organization

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable using EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant video platforms. Must have reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant space for sessions.

Professionalism:

Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence and ethical practice. Compensation Structure Clinical (Billable)

Rate:

$37 per hour.

Administrative/Supervision Rate:

$20.00 per hour (for required clinical supervision and administrative meetings). Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices while maintaining detailed medical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to ensure seamless patient care, including scheduling sessions, documenting progress notes, and managing electronic medical records. Skills Psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care. Familiarity with telehealth and delivering remote patient care effectively. Skills in patient assessment, medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Effective communication skills for intake procedures, clinical documentation, and collaboration. Positive attitude and teamwork!
