Our practice fosters connection, emotional awareness, and nervous system regulation in a safe and supportive environment. We specialize in treatment of professionals experiencing burnout, OCD, PTSD, complex PTSD, depressive and anxiety disorders, and other trauma-related challenges. Additionally, experience or alignment with neurodivergent, teenage, couples, LGBTQIA+, and/or BIPOC communities is preferred. Our clinicians integrate evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Integrative Somatic Parts Work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with classic therapeutic techniques like CBT and Narrative Therapy. Seraphine Therapy & Wellness serves residents of Michigan and Colorado, offering in-person and hybrid sessions. Supervision for LLMSWs is offered. Other licensing types will need external supervision for limited licenses. Role Description This is a part-time or full-time hybrid role for a Psychotherapist located in Birmingham, MI. Although we are currently located in Birmingham, Seraphine will be expanding to a new office space and are seeking one or two new therapists to join us in the expansion. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing child, teen, or adult individual or couple's therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, conducting assessments, appropriately documenting and diagnosing, and creating individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining detailed client records, participating in team meetings, ongoing psychotherapy, and supporting clients with accessing crisis intervention as needed. Qualifications Skills in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health Experience in Relationship Counseling and Trauma-informed care Knowledge of evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Integrative Somatic Parts Work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) (not required) Familiarity with classic therapeutic techniques including CBT and narrative therapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field State licensure as a Psychotherapist, Counselor, or Social Worker Experience in working with Family Issues, Relationship and Developmental Trauma, OCD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, or other speciality.
