In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to diverse populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions tailored to clients' unique needs, including working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management strategies and behavior management techniques while ensuring safety for clients and staff. Maintain meticulous medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations; record patient care activities accurately using appropriate CPT coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts; participate in clinical research projects to enhance treatment outcomes. Requirements Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as PTSD or chronic pain. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnosis documentation. Proficiency in delivering telehealth services using secure platforms; experience in outpatient or inpatient clinical settings preferred. Expertise in various therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, psychopharmacology support, and gender issues counseling. Ability to handle crisis situations with confidence and professionalism; excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and patient care coordination. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards; experience managing medical records securely.
