About the Opportunity Next Level Mental Health Counseling is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and clinically skilled Sex Therapist to join our growing team and support the expansion of our newly established Westchester, NY and/or New York City office locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who specializes in sexual health, intimacy, and relational well-being and who is excited about helping shape the growth of a new in-person location. The selected clinician will serve as one of the foundational providers supporting the in- person office locations and will have the opportunity to build a meaningful in-person presence within the community. This position follows a hybrid service model, requiring in-person availability 2-3 days per week at either or both locations, with the remaining clinical hours provided virtually. The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals and couples on concerns related to sexual health, intimacy, and relationships, and is excited about helping meet a growing community need for accessible, sex-positive mental health care. What You'll Do Provide psychotherapy services to individuals and couples presenting with sexual health, intimacy, and relational concerns Maintain a hybrid schedule consisting of in-person and virtual appointments Conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans Complete clinical documentation and treatment planning in accordance with practice standards Collaborate with supervisors, leadership, and interdisciplinary professionals (e.g., medical providers, OB/GYNs, urologists, and pelvic floor specialists) when appropriate Participate in supervision and team collaboration as applicable Engage in practice-supported marketing and community visibility initiatives Support continuity of care through thoughtful treatment planning, discharge planning, and referral coordination Ideal Candidate We're especially interested in clinicians who: Have specialized training and/or certification in sex therapy (e.g., AASECT-certified or actively working toward certification) Enjoy working with individuals and couples on sexual health, intimacy, and relationship concerns Have experience supporting concerns such as desire and arousal discrepancies, sexual dysfunction, sexual trauma, body image, infidelity, gender and sexual identity exploration, and relationship or intimacy challenges Are excited about helping grow a new office location and establish community presence Value collaboration, relationship-building, and client-centered, sex-positive care Are comfortable balancing both in-person and virtual service delivery Professional Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field Valid New York State LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, MHC-LP, or permit-eligible status AASECT certification, or documented progress toward certification, strongly preferred Experience working with individuals and couples on sexual health and intimacy concerns strongly preferred Experience delivering sex-positive, trauma-informed, and inclusive clinical care preferred Bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to culturally responsive, affirming, and strengths-based care for clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures In-Person Office Highlights Newly launched and growing office locations Opportunity to serve as a foundational clinician helping shape the future of the locations Established referral opportunities through community partnerships and medical and relationship-focused professionals Practice-supported marketing and visibility initiatives Hybrid schedule flexibility Ongoing leadership support and clinical collaboration Workplace Benefits Opportunity to build a caseload aligned with your clinical interests and specialties Fee-for-service compensation model with significant earning potential based on caseload volume and service engagement (providers in this role typically generate between $60,000 and $140,000 annually, depending on licensure status and caseload) Opportunity for compensation growth and bonus incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees Paid time off and sick time 401(k) and pension benefits Continuing education support Individual and group supervision opportunities Collaboration with experienced and specialized clinicians Professional growth and advancement opportunities within a supportive and mission- driven organization About Next Level Next Level Mental Health Counseling is committed to providing accessible, culturally responsive, and affirming mental health care to diverse communities.
