The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine and behavioral therapy, with a commitment to helping individuals overcome substance use disorders. This role involves providing support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions to clients struggling with addiction, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide individual/family 2hr sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Implement behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in their recovery journey. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Facilitate crisis management interventions when needed. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all client interactions. Collect and analyze data related to client outcomes and program effectiveness. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including social workers and medical staff, to provide comprehensive care. Educate clients about addiction, recovery options, and coping strategies for managing triggers. Provide support for co-occurring disorders such as PTSD through specialized care techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Experience in substance abuse counseling or addiction medicine is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with coding practices related to mental health services is a plus. Proficient in applied behavior analysis and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
