Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team We are a growing agency looking to partner with a Licensed Therapist to assist with our new development of our holistic approach to home care by incorporating Mental/Behavioral Health. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral support to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges, fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and conflict management strategies. Collect and document medical records, treatment progress, and behavioral data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations for conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and gender issues counseling. Coordinate case management activities to ensure seamless care delivery across home, community care settings, and healthcare providers. Engage in ongoing professional development related to behavioral health topics including addiction counseling, working with individuals with disabilities, and special education. Skills Extensive experience in home & community care environments with a strong understanding of patient care protocols. Proficiency in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Expertise in addiction counseling, mental health counseling, and behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Skilled in intake processes, patient assessment, crisis management, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention strategies. Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and their families. Familiarity with special education principles and working with individuals with disabilities or PTSD care needs. Strong interpersonal skills for individual and group therapy sessions along with conflict management within diverse populations.
