Rock offers outpatient individual and group eating disorder therapy in-person in Arlington, VA and virtually across Virginia, Washington, DC and Maryland, as well as nationwide support and education. As a nonprofit organization, all of our services are provided on a sliding scale, and we accepted Medicaid and are in-network with some insurance plans to increase accessibility. All of our services are weight-inclusive and trauma-informed. In addition to our therapy services, we also provide community education and trainings. We are looking for a full-time Therapist to join the Rock team to provide individual and group therapy, with a large focus on in-person care and some flexibility for telehealth. Roles & Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to clients and conduct all related scheduling and notes (an estimated minimum of 20 sessions weekly) Provide group therapy (a minimum of one weekly) in-person and/or virtual, including conducting intakes, assessments, preparing for group, facilitating group, and documentation (Theranest), as well as conducting check-ins with group members Maintain some evening availability for group and/or individual therapy (one-day minimum) Regularly collaborate with other care providers, both internally at Rock and externally, to ensure high-quality care Attend monthly all-team team meeting and monthly group supervision with the clinical team
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed in Virginia (Resident in Counseling, LPC, LMFT or equivalent) or ability to become licensed in Virginia and Maryland/DC Strong facilitation and counseling skills Ability to be trained in TheraNest and technical acumen with Google Drive Experience working with individuals suffering from disordered eating Strong administrative skills Ability to support Rock Recovery's faith-based roots Support of a Health at Every Size (HAES), weight-inclusive philosophyPay & Benefits:
Full-time salary range is $70,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience and licensure and includes bonus opportunities (part-time positions are available at a modified annual salary) Flexible schedule and hybrid remote/in-person work One hour of individual supervision per 40 hours of work at Rock Recovery, provided at no cost to provisionally licensed therapists Four weeks of paid time off in addition to annual paid holidays (following federal schedule plus two extra holidays) for full-time employees Retirement benefits and matching opportunities 75% employer paid health benefits Parental and family leave Disability/life insurance fully paid benefitsJob Types:
