Therapist P&G Behavioral Health Services - 4.3 Washington, DC Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $45 - $60 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Customer service Computer literacy Group therapy Individual therapy Clinical documentation Patient interaction Full Job Description We are seeking qualified therapist to establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients; diagnoses and treat mental health disorders; create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances; meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary to our Department of Behavioral Health Adult patients via telehealth. Responsibilities Provide individual and group mental health counseling for the chronically mentally ill adult consumers living in Washington, D.C. consistent with standards established by the Department of Behavioral Health via telehealth. Conduct Diagnostic Assessments for newly enrolled consumers. Complete required documentation (encounter notes) in a timely fashion. Participate with P&G interdisciplinary team to provide mental health care recommendations for consumers. Consult with primary care provider and other mental health professionals as needed. Make appropriate referrals as needed based on clinical judgement. Maintain professional behavior and relationships with agency staff and referral sources. Attend oversight supervision meetings with the Clinical Director. Skills Must possess a DC State License in LICSW, LSW, LPC or LG and live within the DC Metropolitan Area. Knowledge of the cultural, social, and economic background of the population being served. Knowledge of intake processes, skills, and methods of relating to the patient and families. Possess knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality and client rights, which are subject to State and Federal laws and the ability to explain such in terms the patient is able to comprehend. Possess experience in completing assessments and intake information of the patient and family members in order to assist the providers to develop and implement the plan of care that provides maximum benefits to the client. Excellent knowledge of English language Communication and customer service skills Positive attitude User level computer skills with strong writing skills
