Job Description
Overview Our growing private practice in Weston, FL is seeking compassionate and motivated therapists to join our team on a 1099 contractor basis. We provide a supportive, collaborative, and client-focused environment where clinicians can thrive both professionally and personally, including clinical supervision offered to all clinicians. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed clinicians or registered interns looking to build their caseload in a warm and welcoming private practice setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health counseling and be committed to providing high-quality client care. This role involves working with individuals facing various challenges, including PTSD, and utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental and emotional well-being.

Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to a diverse client population (children, adults and adolescents) Maintain appropriate clinical documentation Collaborate with our team and participate in case consultations as needed Uphold ethical and professional standards of care Maintain own liability insurance and active licensure or intern registration in the state of Florida Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation. Offer specialized care for clients dealing with PTSD and other behavioral health issues. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field. Skills Strong understanding of systems related to mental health care delivery. Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding. Expertise in mental health counseling techniques. Ability to provide compassionate client care within a behavioral health framework. Knowledge of or experience within a private practice setting is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements:
Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) OR active Florida Registered Intern status Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong clinical skills and a passion for helping others Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
