Exempt Job Summary The Department of Counseling seeks candidates qualified with a concentration in School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health or Marriage Couples and Family Counseling. This is a part time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis. Teaches students enrolled in Counseling Skills, Residency, Practicum and Internship and other courses as needed. Essential Job Functions Teach online courses using current pedagogical methods. Maintain effective and timely communication with students, course lead. Maintain effective and timely communication with students, course lead and chair of department.
Minimum and Desired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have an earned doctorate degree in Counselor Education and licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or Certified School Counselor. Experience in online education.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Counselor; Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or certified School Counselor.
Supplemental Information Key Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies. Experience in online teaching at the graduate level
